WOW it has been like a month and a half since I updated.... ooops! Tons has happened too... so this may be a long entry. 
Grad school update...
Just after my last entry I got some discouraging responses from grad schools. U of M (my #1 choice) put me on the waiting list, and will notify me of their final decision sometime in May. 
I cried for about 4 hours after I found this out... mainly because the sole purpose of applying early is to FIND OUT YOUR STATUS early. Instead, Im about to wait another few months. Three days later, I got a letter from UNC (my #2 choice) that I was denied admission. This shocked me, because I thought UNC and UT would be in the bag. Apparently grad school is MUCH more competitive than I expected. I'm thinking of applying to GVSU now in addition to sending in FSU and U of Georgia (my backups).
Cait's Bday Naughtiness...
For Cait's 22nd she decided she wanted to have a Sex Toy Party. Good idea... spend all my money just before spring break! It was a great idea though, definitely invested in some important things 
Afterwards we all headed out to the bar, and I got a little crazier... if you wanna hear the story ask me but Im not going to post it on here hahaha.
Spring Break...
This year Jess, Cait and I flew to San Diego for SB to stay with Jess' friend Joe. We really didnt have anything planned and basically had no idea of how the week was going to be... but that's what made it amazing! We were completely spontaneous the entire week, and did something new every day. We hung out mainly in Pacific Beach, a cute little town on the ocean with plenty of bars and shopping on the strip. We spent a day or two lounging on the beach and soaking up all the sun we could. 
We also spent a day in Hillcrest, a predominately gay town. It was hilarious... we went in all the shops of course, and met a gay piano player at a coffeeshop who we bonded with for awhile over coffee and "Immm saaaaaaailing awaaaaaaayyy". LOL! 
We got high and went to the San Diego zoo which was sweet. We went downtown San Diego for the 2nd largest Mardi Gras party in the US... we rolled up in a limo AND had VIP passes. BOOYAH! Jess and I got wasted (Cait was drunk before we even left the apt) and did what we had to do for beads... which was NOT showing any skin. Think about it. Then we ditched these Mexican guys who bought us dinner and made a confessional about it on Jess' video camera. Once we find a way to get it online we're doin it... you will laugh your ass off. We basically drank every night... I met a million fun people cuz for some reason I was Ms. Social Butterfly on this trip. We also spent a day at Coronado Island... my favorite place in Cali by far. It was gorgeous... and our $10 drinks were pretty good too. Haha! All in all we got extremely drunk, met some amazing people, ran into friends, ate lavishly and shopped until our wallets were empty. Good times. 
On the way home not only did we nearly miss our flight, but I had food poisoning. What an AWFUL day for that to hit... I was miserable and all I wanted to do was lay in my bed and not sit up straight on a plane all day. I rested tons when I got home, and finally got to go see Maddie! I missed her TONS over break... and she's gorgeous as ever. She smiles a lot now, and is getting close to laughing too! 
Lately I've been just trying to keep up with my classes... I skip ALL the time cuz I have insane senioritis right now and sleeping in always sounds SO much better. Haha! I guess if Jake and I didnt get drunk on weeknights we'd be able to get up like normal college students. OOOPS!
